Yeast success!

Thanks to all who replied to my "bad yeast" thread.

Just wanted to report that I tried again on Friday...with success! I used a teaspoon of sugar this time, and let the yeast sit alittle longer than I usually do (made sure there were plenty of bubbles) and voila...my babka rose beautifully.
