yeast roll question

I have a recipe for Cardamom Rolls that I love, but it is a bit labor intensive. Once I've made the rolls and let them rise the second time can I put them in the fridge overnight and bake them the next morning? Will this make them tough? Kill the yeast? Anyone have any experience doing this?
