For a dinner early New Year's Eve, with a bunch of adults and kids, I thought Manhattan Koreatown would be fun. (Unless the spillover from Times Square makes it too hard logistically.) I have eaten at a number of Koreatown places, but the only place I have brought kids is Kum Gang San. It seems like it would be suitably festive, if kitschy(waterfall, while piano perched above the diners, etc.). Is there a better place in that area for semi-finicky kids and a crowd - better food and equal ambiance?
