Can someone tell me the source of the smoked meat served at Reubens (on Ste. Catherines, downtown)?
I usually fly into Montreal late in the evening and have the habit of going to Reubens for a smoked meat sandwich or plate because I always seem to stay someplace nearby. I'm usually in transit, with a train out the next afternoon to visit my mother, so I don't budget the time for a different smoked meat "experience".
The smoked meat at Reubens hits the spot with me, but I'm wondering if it approaches Montreal's finest.
