I ate at Yangs today, had their chicken with walnuts luncheon special. It came with a cup of the best won-ton I have ever had anywhere (including New Jersey and California). The soup was literally brimming with scallions and the broth is wonderful. The main course must have had half a cup of walnuts or more and the sauce was first rate. Served with some decent pork fried rice, a pot of tea and fresh fried noodles, all for $4.25. It may not look like much, but this is a first-rate establishment (my Chinese friends agreed that it was their favorite also). Just as important-I have read the health inspector reports in the newspaper for years-while many chinese restaurants get failing marks or marks in the low 80's, the lowest I ever remember Yangs getting is 98.
