I just returned from the Riveria Maya and am on a search for Xtabentum, an anise-honey liqueur that was fantastic. I had it in a frozen drink made with rum or tequila (?), lime, and sugar. It was amazing- not sweet, not limey, not too anisey but perfectly balanced and refreshing.
We've checked Twin Liqueurs to no avail, but if anyone knows where to find this it would be much appreciated!!!
Oh, and any place that serves Yucatan-Mayan like cuisine would be nice too!
