I noticed it as I was walking by on West Portal Avenue. It's fairly small, but elegantly appointed. As I was looking at the menu in the window, a young woman (owner? waitress?) came out and handed me a menu. She said they specialize in Northern Chinese. I saw several Shanghai and Sichuan dishes on the menu which looked interesting but somewhat expensive for appetizers and soups (XLB is $6.95, other apps around $7, soups between $6.75 and $11, main dishes between $8 and $12). They've been open since November.
Any feedback from somebody who's been there?
