Worst New York Times restaurant story ever?

If the NY Times is often wrong-footed in its coverage of Paris restaurants, the latest is a real howler:
What on earth is the point of this story, which is hipster drivel, old news, and just plain not interesting. Why on earth didn't they ask someone who actually lives in Paris for a story idea? Adam Gollner is a good writer but man oh man, he doesn't know Paris from the inside of a frozen pizza box.
