I had the worst service at Washington Bar And Grill last night!

Okay, a party of five, show up on the dot of our reservation at 8pm. The table wasn't ready, no big deal, we wait about five ten minutes. All down hill from there...

The waitress was so sugary sweet, all smiles, which made me feel like the bad guy for hating her guts! Ah, she was slow! It wasn't busy, by the time we were done at 9:30, most of the tables were empty already. There were other servers around. The bus boys were faster and more efficient than her.

The water was not filled. Huge amounts of wait for EVERYTHING! Everyone only ordered entress, and still the dinner took over an hour and a half.

Of course I was too gutless to give her no tip. And my husband said, she could have been having a bad day or whatever, made me tip her 15% still.

The food by the way was pretty good. They didn't over salt everything like many restaurants now days to. I couldn't believe it. I had to add my own salt, which I don't mind at all.

(by the way, my husband contents if you don't order a normal three course meal, you should expect to get crappy service, especially in a large group like us. I totally disagree. It's not like we sat down to eat bread and only order appetizers. But I suppose this is a discussion for the General Board)
