The worst possible Mexican food ever!

I am visiting Austin for a week and wanted to throw down on some good Tacos from a Taqueria or even a Taco Truck and searching some boards I came across a place called Taqueria Arandas #3. Every thing was going good until I actually got my food.

No offense to Caucasians but I should of been weary when there was only white people in there enjoying the food. I had the Carne Asada plate and at $6.99 I thought what a good deal with beans,rice and tortillas. (forgot to add the shredded lettuce that passes as a salad).

First, no human should be allowed to eat this Carne Asada unless he is confined to camp X-ray at Gitmo. But even they get served better food.

Second, any Mexican meat is seasoned, marinated before being cooked. This was a thin piece of meat that had to be left in a bowl of water overnight and then once it is lacking any color or flavor it was cooked, and just barely.

No salt, no marination, no flavor, chewy and licking a used band-aid would of been better. Yeah, that bad. I feel sorry for Texans who think this passes as Mexican food and I am ashamed that you have to see a poor representation of our Food. I told the waiter and then the cook in Spanish what a sorry piece of food this was and they just said sorry. I never do this and just suck it up but this was a special case.

Being from Los Angeles and living in San Antonio part-time gives me a good gauge of quality Carne Asada, Hell, some season salt would of made it passable. At last, por favor no comen aqui porque esta comida sabe a pura mierda!
