Hi all,

I'll be in Pittsburgh for a week or so in July, limited to the downtown area. I'm interested in recs for:

1. Local specialties that I can't get elsewhere (is there a Pittsburgh style hot dog?)
2. Local specialties done better than most places (pierogies etc.)
3. Cheap ethnic street food (particularly trucks and food stands)

Any ideas? I know about Smallman Galley, Federal Galley and Primanti and prefer holes-in-the-wall to the fancy upscale places.

Thanks in advance.
