as summer winds down and with it crab season do not forget the steamed blue claws down at the fish market. you can get just as many or as few as you want and eat them on the dock with your feet dangling over. Do not be put off by rats swimming by because they like a good nosh now and again too (we're all god's creatures, right?). And now that there is an R in the month you can chow on a bunch of raw oysters on the same dock and feel very smug because your annoying coworkers know about this place but would never deign to come. Parking can be tough so take the first spot you see. The fish market is on Maine Ave in SW in the lee of the 14th street bridge. Follow the "fragrance."
