My mother is making the trek from NJ to visit her daughter and after many delicious two hour lunches at Empire Korea and Dae Dong, we may finally give in and go to the Woo Lae Oak in SOHO. Last summer we stopped by to look at the pricey menu, took a look at the flashy restaurant and predicted that we would be disappointed. But we are considering making the trip because Mother has been to EVERY Woo Lae Oak (DC, Original on 46th St, Seoul) and now wants to complete the set. I am willing to take her and pay, but am afraid I will her "not enough ban chan" "$24 for this? If I made it myself I could feed a whole family..." Is there anyone who seriously objects to Woo Lae Oak? thanks.
