Does anyone have any problems maintaining a constant blue flame with the WOLF FRENCH TOP using all 3 plates, including leaving the inner plate in position.
The video showing usage says to not remove the inner plate but to always switch on the ventilator at the top for at least 5 minutes before switching on the French Top. However, even when I do that, after a minute or so, the flame goes off.
But if I take off the middle ring, and let it air some more with the ventilation on, it seems to maintain a better blue flame, although it may still flame out.
Please can you someone advice what is the best way to ignite the French Top keeping all three rings and maintaining the constant blue flame.
In the UK, the WOLF service guy actually said to take off the inner ring to use. Which seems at odds with usage on the WOLF website.
