I plan on buying a Wolf single oven "E" series and would like to place a microwave over the oven. If I spend the extra $$ to buy the Wolf, microwave convection oven, would I gain a second mini oven when using convection?
I realize that it's designed to be a microwave, and am concerned the convection would be part of microwave cooking, rather than the convection part being a separate feature. (such as, cook I bake one potato rather than microwaving the potato and then browning it)
I sadly learned that the Wolf microwave drawer is not really the warming drawer described on their website. It only keeps the food warm up to 90 minutes that it cooks. (no humidity control, doesn't crisp, no temperature control and no microwave turntable) So my fear is that microwave combo convection might be the same--the added feature is not really an independent oven that I want.
Have anyone have one?
