OK, I went to the Asian Market and bought a huge wok a couple of years ago. Pretty thin, and steel. I've tried seasoning it (I've seasoned all of my cast iron for years, and that works just fine), but it seems to impart a black, charred flavor to the food lately, and it never really did hold up to seasoning very well. I do subject it to very high heat for stir frying.
Where can I get a superior Wok? I remember late ight infomercials for the handbeaten ones, but I don't see these in the Asian markets. ????
