WLA Farmer's Market today

Zoe | Aug 8, 200402:35 PM

Went to the new Farmer's Market behind the library on SM Bl. west of the 405. Parking available in the 'do not park' parking behind the courthouse and a great array of stands ALL under the cool trees along the walkway to the courthouse. Great selection and very good prices - better than upscale Westwood and more pristine than the free for all at the 26th street market that was. Smaller than the regular SM market of course but everything was there including flowers, food - El reboza Mexican (no menudo) and El Peru Inka, popcorn and tamales. Peaches from Little Rock were truly divine, ranch eggs, good bread from La Boulangerie (owner says he only wholesales). Very welcome addition to the neighborhood. 9-1 every Sunday.
