Wisteria House closing on Newbury, August 11

BarmyFotheringayPhipps | Aug 6, 200708:34 PM     18

We learned yesterday that Wisteria House, the excellent Taiwanese-style restaurant on Newbury Street, is closing that location on August 11. That's the bad news.

The good news is that they're opening two new locations, one on Cambridge Street in Cambridge (I want to say 569 Cambridge, but don't quote me on that) and (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!) the other at the Super 88 food court at Packard's Corner, in the space where that lame little Thai place used to be, on the front left corner next to Pho Viet's, home of Boston's best banh mi.

This means that one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the city is now about two blocks from my house, in a location where I eat lunch at least once a week already. Could not possibly be more pleased about this.
