I had made a Winterlicous rez for Fri at 6pm at Celestin, complete with the semi-draconian reservations policy that has been discussed elsewhere on this board. Today, I got a call confirming my reservation and also "confirming" (although this was news to me) that the table was booked again for 7:45pm. Although I'm not a Winterlicious regular, I was really taken aback that a high end resto would book reservations so close together even with a set 3 course meal. For me, an enjoyable 3 course meal with wine (which we had intended to order) on a Friday night in less than 1 hr 45 just doesn't feel right. I assume on this basis they are turning tables 3 times a night. Is this the norm?
