Seasonal fruit and veg are not available here in the Midwest. Once in awhile I see a lovely color on a vegetable and then I buy it. For the most part frozen veg, limited fruits are consumed. This really affects the recipes I make as well. I feel not only for the lessening of contact with friends bit also sad with my less frequent cooking and fewer dinner parties. I would like to know how other people deal with having less of a bounty and they normally do
