Winsor Dim Sum revisited

Yesterday I decided to revisit Winsor. In the past, I had tried Winsor and had not found it too be much different or better than the rest of the other DIm Sum restaurants in Boston, basically good but not great. I had not found, as others had, that because they cook to order that their food tasted fresher and better than others. Unlike my previous experiences at Winsor, yesterday was very very good. I arrived around 1:30 pm and every table was taken. I took my order to go which included shu mai, har gau, spareribs in black bean sauce and sticky rice. Although nothing is over the top creative or different than anywhere else, the food was excellent and obviously extremely fresh. The dumpling batter on the har gau was very light and not gummy at all and the spareribs were very fresh and meatier than the usual. I am no longer a doubter.
