wine overcharging incident in sicily

Just back from sicily and will post in due course. nothing too interesting though i'm afraid.however want to alert CHs to a little rip off in the village of zafferano etnea near catania.near the church in the centre of town is an attractive cafe/ristorante with a yellow canopy. at back they have a very good selection of sicilian wines, the best in the area in fact.however they have no prices on them.i bought four different bottles i judged to be in the 10 euro range. my friend decided to pay for them as a treat for me.later as we chatted i discovered she had paid 80 euro. i immeadiately checked the prices in an enoteca in taormina. we had being grossly overcharged on all and on one particular bottle they had charged us 38 euro for a bottle priced in taormina at 11 euro! we hadn't drank the bottle so we we back and confronted the guy with the receipt from taormina and he rfunded us after some minor quibbling.the guy whao charged us the 80 euro had painfully slowly looked up the price in a booklet so maybe he made a mistake but i don't think so.
