Wine Fridge (Built-in)

DiningDiva | Jan 3, 201506:37 PM     10

Looking for suggestions, recommendations, comments and experiences with the different brands of under-counter, built-in wine chillers. My specs would be, more or less, as follows:

38-53 bottle capacity
single zone, as it will house primarily reds
quiet
reasonably energy efficient

I have researched and shopped in person and on-line and have seen a lot of options, everything from a $499 entry level cooler up to a $3,500 Sub-Zero, and no the Sub-Zero is not being given serious consideration. From what the preliminary research has shown, there are multiple good options for substantially less than the Sub-Zero ;-). I need to make a decision here in the next week to 10 days so the unit can be here on time during the kitchen renovation.

If you have a wine fridge, or recently purchased one, what do you like about what you have, and/or why did you buy what you bought.

TIA
