Hello. First, I want to say that I do not really drink wines that much. Therefore, I am inexperienced. For that, bare with me here, please.
My good friend is turning 21 later this month and I know that she is interested in wines. So, I am looking for a wine for her as a present. Nevertheless, she is still a beginner in this field. So, a good beginner wine.
I know that she does not like the drying sensation in her mouth. I am not sure if this is relevant, but she does not like fruits. She also does not like things too sweet, so I am looking for off-dry/semi-sweet or somewhere in that spectrum of sweetness scale.
So, I am hoping to find any good recommendations here. It can be any types of wine.
That said, I found one possible wine for her. It is Riesling. Now, I am a little confused about the types of Riesling but I believe it is the Kabinett one.
What do you think? Or are there better choices out there?
Thank you for your time.
P.S. I am a poor college student so I am not looking for too fancy/expensive ones. If I have to be specific, it can be up to $25.
