I saw a recipe in an airline magazine a couple years ago for a tomato sauce for pasta. It sounded really good and easy -- you throw together some chopped fresh tomatoes and other ingredients (garlic? vinegar? oil? basil? salt? I can't remember) in a jar and place it on a sunny windowsill. You shake the jar every couple hours. You don't cook the sauce at all, you just let the sunshine blend the flavors.
I have no idea what the ingredients or amounts were (needless to say, I don't have the article). Does anyone have a similar recipe?
