Wierd Recipes

Ok, took the bait and looked up possum recipes. Found this funny site on wierd recipes. Made me chuckle. Some legit .. some jokes.

Being upscale deprived lately, I was taken with Pate Twinkie a l'orange avec frisée et fourchette

The cow udder eclairs also gave me a hint. If the possum post WAS legit, you might consider using Nair to remove the fur. What a cooking tip.

However, if you ever have a yen to cook seal, moose, spiders, rattlesnake, hornworms, slugs, bugs, fruit bat, beaver skunk, bear (various types) or crow (hence eat crow), this is the site for you.

There are also some cute Halloween ideas like the Swamp Water Punch With The Floating Arm of Death.

There are photos as well including the famous kitty litter cake (legit recipe).

However, what is so wierd about Stuffed Nasturtium Blossoms.

Also, being of Polish ancestry I see nothing strange about Duck Blood Soup (actually glad I found this, It never is in Polish cookbooks).

Spam shake ... yum.
