Restaurants & Bars 6

I went to Mr. C's new fast food joint Wichcraft on 19th St today. Everything about the place is pretty low brow, ready for mass consumption looking except the price list. I guess a 9 dollar sandwich is pretty average nowadays though so maybe I'm just feeling cheap today.

I went for the least expensive item on the menu a $5 green pepper, anaheims perhaps, and cheddar fritatta on a round ciabatta roll(a misnomer I guess as the name ciabatta refers to the fact that the loaf of bread is shaped like a slipper. It was a nice sandwich and the egg was really creamy like some cream had beaten into it. The bread could have been crustier but it was only day 2 so details are still being worked out. Coffee was Colombe blend Toreefazione that was totally mishandled and tasted thin and burned at the same time. I hear the prime time lines are insane so try to go at an off hour.
