I am hosting a white wine tasting and looking for some suggestions re. food pairings. This is a small sit down tasting (8people), appetizer style is what I am looking for.
Here is my list of wines and the order....
1. Spy Valley 2006 Sauv Blanc (NZ)
2. Rabl Gruner Veltliner 2004 (Austria)
3. Cline 2006 Viognier (Cal)
4. Lotus 2003 Chard (Sonoma)
Lime chili bbq shrimp?
Olives? Procuitto or procuitto wrapped asparagus?
Usually we bring out different food with each wine.
Dessert: (maybe cream brulee with some essence? fruit with mascarpone cream dip?)
