white truffles just in at Surfas in Culver city

tctc | Nov 21, 200406:31 PM

I priced one out for $80. for just one teany tiny truffle, amazing to me, but from an earlier thread these seem cheaper than Beverly Hills cheese shop, at Surfas they sell the truffles by the oz. I bought my pate ramikens, then overheard someone talking about the bacon from Southern Route, so I had to buy that and of course the sales lady ranted about Aunt Polly's homemade pickles so I bought those too...but I got out cheaper than if I had bought those beautifully pungeant white truffles! Does anyone know of another place like Surfas to peruse?
