Recently, the New York times featured an article describing the paucity of places in which to have a pre-dinner drink or an after dinner drink. Either it's a coffee place with no alcohol or it's a bar with dark lights, too much smoke, and no place to sit and enjoy a nice glass of champagne. I recently heard that the completely jinxed location near the corner of Louisiana and St. Charles is once again opening up. This is the former Monjuni's. Plans include nice wines by the glass along with sherry, port and champagne. Hopefully, we will be able to enjoy the elegance of a restaurant table without having to order a full meal. I wonder though, is that building on some cursed indian mound. Will it make it?
