White defect on Le Creuset skillet

Mikology_PNW | Jul 2, 202108:48 PM     1

Hello, I recently purchased a Le Creuset 11.75" skillet. It has very small white colored defect (0.5mm or so in diameter) on the black enamel cooking surface. I attached two pictures. The defect is hard and smooth (it actually feels like enamel). It could not be removed by by scrubbing. It appears to be fused onto the black enamel. It is raised above the surface (see the zoomed in photo). I have not yet cooked anything in the skillet. Has anyone seen this defect? Will this cause problems in the future? I'm debating whether to keep or return the skillet and would appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks!
