white bean stew recipes?

Ok, how about this, I’ll tell the hounds the ingredients that sound tasty to me, and maybe my chowbrothers and sisters can give me a recipe that can incorporate them, some sort of white bean stew recipe maybe? I’d like it to be some sort of white bean (possibly crockpot) stew, with a thick, garlicky broth (maybe roasted garlic?), some bay leaves, and some good, sliced kielbasa from a local butcher. Probably going to need some onions in that bad boy too. Beer in the broth? Chicken stock? Do you hear me chirpin big bird? How do I make this happen?

I would like to consume this with some friends as we drink good, dark winter beer and watch football. Maybe I need some bread too, maybe a sourdough with, I dunno, a pate? A compound butter? Really good salami?
