westside vienna beef dogs

petradish | Mar 17, 200307:44 PM     2

finally found a hot dog stand that uses vienna beef products. they fry the dogs so the skin gets a little blackened and slightly crisp, then served simply w/relish, mustard, onions on a bun. no "chicago dog" treatment, however. also carry a spicy(fire?) & polish. the "combo" is a hamburger topped w/sliced hot dog on a burger bun. not my cup of tea, as the burger does nothing to enhance the dog. a great place when you feel like a simple, well-textured hot dog.
