New westside Italian places?

igj | Feb 20, 2006 06:21 PM

I read that Angela Landsbury's daughter and her (Italian) husband opened a new Italian place called Enzo and Angela. This restaurant is now in the old Foodies space on Wilshire, directly across the street from Bandera. The menu looks pretty basic, but I could always use a place to find a solid and decently priced plate of gnocchi.

I also received a menu from a place called Angolo Divino, located on Santa Monica, just east of the 405; near Hamasaku, I guess. I have no more information other than the fact that they sent local residents a $20 gift certificate in the mail. Strong incentive to try the place, at least once.

Has anyone had a chance to try either of these places yet?

Below, I have included a link to Enzo and Angela's website.
