I'm looking for good weisswurst* (missing our annual pilgrimage to Munich this year ...) from a butcher or store that we could cook at home. Does this stuff get imported from Germany? Also open to other sausage suggestions... Or restaurants that may serve it.
AND... if you've had the brezen (pretzels) there too you'll know what I'm talking about and it's not the mealy stuff from hot dog carts. Anyone know any bakeries (or ?) that sell crusty, yeasty, big "soft" pretzels?
*In case you have seen this product ("have you seen this sausage?!") but don't recognize the name, it's a white sausage made from veal with flecks of green in it.
