Heads up for you meat lovers out there. I was chatting with the meat dept. manager this eve. and he informed me that Wegmans has tired of the spotty supply of dry aged prime, and has installed its own dry age box in Rochester. They will be buying prime meat and doing the aging themselves, and shipping to select stores (including Dulles of course, where a test batch of one-week's supply recently sold out in an afternoon! hmmm). He thinks the supply should start coming in in a regular stream in "the next few days."
