Weekly Menu Plans – September 2017

MidwesternerTT | Aug 25, 2017 05:19 PM

Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in September. Are you planning meals around harvests from your garden? Heading off to vacation at a National Park with other retirees? Cooking meals for the first busy weeks of school? What’s planned from the COTM (Cookbook of the Month: SMALL VICTORIES: RECIPES, ADVICE + HUNDREDS OF IDEAS FOR HOME COOKING TRIUMPHS, by Julia Tershen ), DOTM (Dish of the Month), or the Fall quarterly baking books (FLO BRAKER QUARTER - any of the 3 baking books by Flo Braker )?

Planning meals ahead helps on those days when someone else’s urgent situation requires your time and attention - whether that “someone” is your boss, your baby or a friend in need. We all know plans change, so no worries if something drops off your list or gets added.

You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others and as your own reality-check for next week’s plans.

It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.

The August discussion is still available for reporting the last week and follow-ups.
