Weekly Menu Plans - November 2017

MidwesternerTT | Oct 26, 201706:11 PM

Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in November. BRRR .. Soups are sounding good to me as we watch the last of the leaves and the first of the snowflakes fall. What’s planned from the COTM (Cookbook of the Month: HONEY & CO.: THE COOKBOOK, by Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer ), DOTM (Dish of the Month), or the Fall quarterly baking books (FLO BRAKER QUARTER - any of the 3 baking books by Flo Braker )?

Planning meals ahead helps you buy appropriate quantities for this week’s meals. Take a close look at what’s already on-hand. You can begin clearing space in the pantry, freezer & fridge (I’m looking with a critical eye at my condiments bins) – making room to start stocking specialty ingredients for holiday meals or baking. We all know plans can change, so no worries if something you posted about drops off your list or an inspired improvisation gets added.

You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others and as your own reality-check for next week’s plans.

It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.

The October discussion is still available for reporting the last week and follow-ups.
