Let's use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in the 2nd Half of February. Will you be joining in the Cookbook of the Month (The Tex-Mex Cookbook, Robb Walsh), make a DOTM (Dish of the Month) or something from the quarterly baking book (Hot Bread Kitchen Cookbook)? What will add joy for those you love in celebration of Valentine’s Day? In the USA, will you be hosting a February 5 Super Bowl Party, or get an extra day at home on February 20 (President’s Day)? Is Mardi Gras / Carnival food making an appearance? Will you end your month with pancakes on Shrove Tuesday?
Planning meals ahead simplifies daily cooking. And helps us waste less food by actually using those ingredients that jumped into the grocery cart. We all have menu plans change - sometimes only swapping days, and sometimes disrupting an entire week or month. You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others and as your own reality-check for next week’s plans.
It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.

Reminder – We’re such a friendly group it’s easy to get chatty and our longer discussions (more than 300 or so) are slower to load. Even short one-sentence posts seem to add to the burden (CH tech has been told about the issue). So use the Heart under a comment to indicate you liked what was said by another, rather than posting a separate “me too” comment. PLEASE minimize comments that aren’t meal / recipe / planning related (maybe combine them within your own menu plan weekly posting whenever possible?) We quickly got to 350 in just 14 days, so this is the mid-month start of another discussion.
