Weekly Menu Planning - September 2018

MidwesternerTT | Aug 27, 201807:51 AM     292

Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in September. Will you be cooking with the Cookbook of the Month (COTM) crowd from DINING IN: HIGHLY COOKABLE RECIPES by Alison Roman? Or will you be inspired by the selected Dish of the Month (DOTM)? Will you help select a new quarterly baking cookbook?

Retirees may be anticipating September vacations, while parents, teachers and students are getting back into the swing of packing lunches and arranging family schedules and dinners around school activities. Are you doing more hands-off cooking, using a slow cooker or Instant Pot?

We all know plans can change, so it’s fine (practically expected) when your week gets rearranged from your posted plan. You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others. It's helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.

The August discussion is still available for reporting the last week and follow-ups. https://www.chowhound.com/post/weekly...

Reminder – Keep your comments menu / food related. And in the interest of faster viewing times, please use the Heart under a comment to indicate you liked it or want to echo what was said by another, rather than posting a separate “me too” comment.
