The board was a great help when planning our timeshare-funded trip last weekend, so I wanted to report back.
We arrived late Thursday night and snagged some seats at The Mandarin Bar. Missed the kitchen closing by a few minutes sadly, but the service was excellent to get us started. Limited food options after 12am so we resorted to The Fatburger...
Friday morning we cabbed to Bouchon Bakery in The Venetian for something to hold us over during our 2-hour timeshare tour. I live 3 minutes from the famous Bakery Nouveau in West Seattle, so I wasn't terribly impressed with their chocolate croissant.
Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmo was our lunch reward and it was delicious. Although they really know what they're doing with the up charges since our check was double what we'd usually spend on lunch. My husband had the lobster pasta and my dorade was enough for two.
Hoping to treat the in-laws to Yardbird, but they wanted to go to the Old Strip. Dinner was at Magnolia's Veranda. It didn't look like much, but no one got food poisoning so there's that!
Saturday brunch at Mon Ami Gabi was perfect. We were easily able to make an OpenTable reservation a half-hour before and skipped the line. One of the best eggs benedicts I've ever had!
Shivered by the pool and suffered our way through some bar nachos and mozz sticks to meet our cabana F&B minimum during the day.
Rose. Rabbit. Lie was a treat for Saturday night dinner. We had THE best table in front of the band and they let us sit for 2 hours before kicking us out. When in Rome, we couldn't resist the caviar tacos. Shared the endive salad, short rib strogonoff, rolls and too many drinks. Really recommend this spot if you want some of the LV show atmosphere without the cheese factor.
As always, too many good spots to try - thanks again!
