Coming back to Montreal for a wedding next weekend. Just starting to look a restaurant options. Have two dinners, one lunch and one brunch to work with. Dined pretty extensively for 5 years ending in 2014. Have been out in Vancouver since, really missing the Montreal food scene.
So far I'm thinking Bouillon Bilk for dinner (was probably my favorite previously); Pastaga for lunch, not sure for brunch. As far as new places I saw La Recolte, Manitoba (being an exWinnipeger drawn here), Salmigondis, Montreal Plaza, Lili Co. Favorites among these? What would be other highlights opened in the last 2 years? Looking for French/Quebecois/Contemporary midrange/upscale spots.
Also who makes the best eclair these days? Will try to hit up Patrice, Christain Faure, Rhubarbe, any new spots?
