Weekend Choices - Don't Want Brunch for Lunch and Want Not Too Pricey Dinner

jpie | Jun 4, 201702:00 AM

We arrive in Chicago the last week of June. Our plane comes into Midway around 3:30PM and we are staying near the airport. We are in town for 4 nights. I have booked Frontera Grill for Friday lunch. I see mixed reviews-people say it is kind of "factory-like", so I figured lunch might be better than dinner. And the only other thing I have booked so far is Little Goat Diner for dinner that same day, Friday.

I am looking for other suggestions especially for weekend lunches. Chicago seems to serve mostly weekend brunches, which we don't love. I have thought about booking both Sunda and Mexique because of having brunch versus lunch, but since they are ethnic inspired, they have things other than eggs, etc. Has anyone been to either of these for weekend brunch?

Also looking for dinner choices. As you know many great restaurants can be pricey at night and we love ethnic of all sort so would rather eat that and save higher end stuff for lunches.

We are staying near Midway but will have a car and are happy to travel for food-either by transport or drive and park, valet, etc. My husband is hoping for good Greek which I haven't really found yet. Although we love steak and French food, we are arriving back in the US from France from an extended trip, so are probably more craving good ethnic choices. We might do deep dish pizza but don't love it...

Any help would be appreciated!

Little Goat Diner,
Frontera Grill,
Piece Brewery
