A weekend in Boston - Great food and such reasonable wine prices

We took a Porter flight to Boston from the Toronto Island for the August long weekend. We stayed at the Intercontinental on Boston Harbor. We ate at so many incredible places.

We enjoyed meals at the following places: Deuxave, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Atlantic Fish Company, Legal Seafood. We made a trip to Cambridge for a lovely meal at Oleana. We had appetizers and drinks at Top of the Hub while shopping at the Prudential Center.

We had yummy brunches at Trident Booksellers and Café and The Paramount. We hosted a celebratory brunch for 8 at the Taj (not as decadent as Toronto's brunch at the Ritz Carlton).

Overall it was 4 days of delicious restaurant meals in a picturesque setting. We loved the city. It was easy to get around. There were plenty of options. Perhaps best of all was the prices on the wine list. It's so easy for those of us under the LCBO in Ontario to get used to paying exorbitant prices for limited wine selections.

My bf adored Atlantic Fish Co. over the other restaurants. I adored Deuxave. I wish I knew about the outdoor patio at Oleana in advance (next time!)
