Restaurants & Bars

Last Weekend

I gotta quit reading this board so much, it is making me spend too much money! This past weekend my girlfriend and I ate a lot:

Sat: Mandina's lunch, turtle soup was delicious as always, I had the combination shrimp/oyster poboy.

Sun: Lafitte's Landing for brunch, excellent food. I had the three-course meal with an egg dish, grillades & grits, and dessert.

Mon: Horinoya for dinner, good sushi, surprisingly crowded for a Monday night.

Tues: Jacques-Imo's for dinner, best meal of all. Waitress gave us a free fried roast beef poboy. Also had calamari and fried grits appetizers. I had a lamb (I think it was blackened lamb) boneless, and delicious.

All in all, a great weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do that again for months!
