This week is wild game week at the Big 4

Ok, so I'm at the end of the recent Grace Ann Walden Column.

If you have a yen for yak, this is your chance.

Also featured: black silkie chicken, snapping turtle. alligator, kangaroo, buffalo, caribou, boar, elk, and llama.

So black silkie chicken ... is that the black ckickens that people mention on the board?

How dare Daniel Patterson call SF cuisine uncreative in the NY Times when something like Kangaroo and Duck Foie Gras Slider is on the menu. White Castle is probably green with envy.

Although what is it with huckleberries this year? Why are they on EVERY restuarant menu? It comes with the caribou - Pan Seared Saddle of Caribou with Sweet Corn Blintz, Vanilla Bean Roasted Acorn Squash, Wild Huckleberry Sauce
