A Wedding on the Common, then Dinner

RobinJ | Mar 1, 2005 08:55 AM

Due to the small size of my guest list and my laziness in planning an all-out reception, my current plan is to get married by a JP in the Common/Garden this summer/fall and have an intimate, special dinner to celebrate.

Logistics-wise, I would like a restaurant near the Common so I can just walk over with my (20-25) guests. I want great food, of course, but also the ability to accomodate those who are not a chowhound like myself (Dad in particular is very meat-and-potatoes). Money is not a big issue here, but $100 per person is about as much as I want to spend.

My first thought is No. 9 Park, but I wouldn't want to overlook any other great places.

Any ideas?? TIA!
