Whole Weat Pastry Flour ... Can I use It?

As a special request, I am baking another carrot cake this week . My recipe calls for a combo of all purpose and whole wheat flours, but I was in a hurry today and I bought whole wheat PASTRY flour by mistake. Is this a huge mistake, or can I use it anyway. I don't really have time to go to the store again, but I could just use the all purpose.
