Thanks to everyone who posted in response to my plea for easy vegetarian post-bonfire dinners. I think I've decided on doing an emmental fondue - though I'm still leaning towards that black bean stew and corn bread idea...which sounds brilliant. Might do baked apples stuffed with marzipan for dessert.
In the meantime - I need interesting ideas for things to dip into a cheese fondue. What does everyone else use? I'm getting tired of bread, tomatoes, carrot, mushrooms etc.
