Please No Waxing Poetic About Ann Sather - I Need a Big Fat Cinnamon Roll - Bakery, Restaurant, Suburbs, I Don't Care!

Ms. Cinnamon Roll | Apr 18, 2005 11:47 PM

After reading the "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST!" blurb, I apparently must disclose that I am a pastry chef working here in Chicago. So there you go. However, the reason for my post is that I want someone ELSE to make me a cinnamon roll. Not Ann Sather. Ms. Sather is a nice woman and all, but I can't find a stinkin' reference to a cinnamon roll in Chicago without the subject of St. Ann's rolls coming up. To save myself from unmitigated violent responses, yes, Sather's rolls are fine. But they are not what I am after - I want a Big, Fat, Fluffy Roll. Real butter. Quality cinnamon. I am not asking for much here.
If this mythical roll exists between North Avenue and Foster, all the better. If not, I'm willing to travel. Thanks in advance to anyone out there who thinks outside the Sather box!!
